(March 19th 2008) UPDATES
REGARDING PASSPORTS REQUIRED FOR TRAVEL ROCKY POINT:
We have spoken to the Mexican
Consulate and several Border Patrol employees in March 2008, and we are told that Passports will not be required for traveling to
Rocky Point until early 2009. Currently you need a state issued I.D. (like a
drivers license) and a birth certificate. We will keep you updated on any
changes. We do recommend that everyone who plans to travel to Rocky Point in
2009 should get a Passport before the year is over. From your friends at Synergy Reservations, Inc.
The new Passport card
applications are now being accepted at the same post offices that issue
Passports. They are half the price.
To locate a Post Office near
you that accepts Passport Applications, call 1-800-ASK-USPS (275-8777), or call the National Passport
Information Center at 1-877-487-2778
